yourself in the Greater Boston JATC Apprenticeship Training Program,

skilled craftspeople in the industry. You would receive intensive
classroom instruction from expertly qualified instructors, and on-the-job
training with experienced journeypersons. You would train in one

in the industry NECA/IBEW electricians and technicians.
The Greater
Boston JATC offers a five-year Electrical
Construction Program and a four-year Telecommunications
Program, giving you a choice of the advanced technologies
in which you would like to gain expertise. In both programs, you
would:

who show you how to apply the skills you learned from your classes.

Even if you
have no electrical knowledge now, youll gain the skills and
knowledge to become a qualified journeyperson deserving of the highest
wages possible. When you complete either of the JATC programs, youll
be recognized as one of the best in your field, having met higher
standards of safety and quality than required by the state of Massachusetts.
Through the Greater Boston JATCs Continuing
Education Program, you can continue to upgrade your
skills and knowledge as technologies and codes change.

Electrical Construction Program
The five-year Electrical Construction Program provides you with
intensive training and experience in advanced technologies, ensuring
that you are one of the most highly trained, skilled, and professional
electricians in the industry. You would acquire the knowledge and
skills to complete a variety of projects, from commercial and residential
construction, to industrial installations, to building and plant
maintenance, high voltage testing and splicing, and underground
cable installation. There is a lot of work available and
NECA/IBEW Local 103 members are the most in-demand team of electricians
in the field the team entrusted with Greater Bostons
most important projects, like the Ted Williams Tunnel, the Boston
Public Library, the U.S. District Court, and many others.

of its kind in the nation, our four-year Telecommunications Program
creates well-rounded technicians, who are experts in the complete
scope of the industry. Our technicians help build the communications
systems that connect all of Boston, from computer systems and voice
and data, to fiber optics and security systems. They are the first
choice for exciting telecommunications projects, such as business
office networking, hospital and school security systems, and Bostons
